Versace is set to launch a new fragrance for men – Eros, inspired by and deeply rooted in Greek mythology. The goal of this release is to unveil and unleash unrestrained passion, while accentuating desire. Named after the Greek god of love and son of the goddess Aphrodite – Eros, the fragrance draws inspiration from ancient Greece, a theme that has been present since Gianni Versace established his fashion empire. He chose the goddess Medusa as the symbol of the brand, adorning numerous products, including the new bottle of men's fragrance Eros.

This new perfume, Eros, marks the first men's fragrance launch in the past five years. Donatella Versace's vision was to align the fragrance with the core values of the Versace brand, embodying style and the timeless elements of design, quality, and popularity. "Eros truly encapsulates the essence of Versace," explains Donatella. "With a Greek motif that pays tribute to ancient Greece, antiquities, and mythology, and a turquoise color symbolizing the Mediterranean, it is unmistakably Versace."

Crafted by Aurelien Guichard of Givaudan, Eros is described as a fresh, woody, and slightly oriental scent. The fragrance features notes of mint oil, green apple, Italian lemon, tonka, Venezuelan ambroxan, and geranium flowers, resulting in a fougere twist. The main olfactory notes of this product are woody, fresh, floral, and fruity, making it a perfect match for men.
